Next year’s festival dates for Montreal Jazz Festival 2019 – the festival’s 40th anniversary – have been announced as June 27, 2019 to July 6, 2019.

    Montreal Jazz Festival agglomerates some of the most electrifying and superb jazz musicians and places them all in one location. Music lovers, jazz enthusiasts, and performers will have the chance to see their favorite jazz players up, close and personal. If you are a die-hard, hardcore jazz lover, or you’re simply looking for an unforgettable summer concert experience, then the Montreal Jazz Festival might be just for you.

    Montreal Jazz Festival Dates

    The 39th edition of the Jazz Fest will take place from Thursday, June 28 until Saturday, July 7, 2018. Next year, the 40th edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival will run from June 27 to July 6. You will have more than two full weeks of pure musical joy.

    Locations for the different music events are divided between indoor and outdoor venues. Listed below are just a few of the places where music events take place:

    Montreal Jazz Festival Tickets and Lineup

    Consult the festival’s schedule to choose and buy tickets for specific events at the festival. Some bands and artists will be performing for free, while other events charge for attendance. Make sure you jump on your favorite artist’s event before tickets sell out.

    Montreal Jazz Festival Travel and Accommodations

    People attending the festival can select from different travel and accommodation options. Depending on location and other factors, hotel prices can range dramatically – anywhere from around $40 to over $200.     Apart from selecting your ideal spot to stay and enjoy the fest, you can also choose to buy a package called the “Jazz Passport Package,” which includes goodies and hotel stays for three nights. Additionally, the festival will also offer many different activities for all in attendance. If you like to relax at the sound of Jazz, or if you love the busy nightlife, the festival will offer something for everyone. From fast-paced intricate musical joy to mellow soulful jazz notes, music lovers will enjoy each and every note.

    Can You Sign up to Perform?

    At this point, the Jazz Festival is not accepting more entries to participate in the 39th fest. However, you can always send a message to the organizers for the 40th anniversary. Make sure you keep a lookout for the registration date during fall.

    Event Security

    At major music events, bags are usually checked and searched. Therefore, it is a good idea to carry only the things you need for the festival and avoid carrying anything that may get you into trouble. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and stay hydrated throughout your trip.
